Record companies are doing their best to convince people that DRM is in their best interests as it is about piracy. Utter rubbish. DRM has and always will be the record companies attempt to squeeze every last penny out of music buyers. Even the DRM developers know that as soon as one person circumvents that DRM and distributes the content, it is rendered useless as anyone can access the now unencumbered content.

I'd rather not have any new media content at all than buy into their evil schemes.
