@John: I fully support that companies have a right to protect their investements and business. However, putting DRM control on CD to prevent copying punishes the honest buyer of music - and not the illegal downloader and even encourages honest people to download the DRM-free version. We need to send a strong message to these companies as customers, that we as music lovers like to listen to our legally purchased content whenever, wherever and however we want. There is not a single sentence in copyright law that allows companies to restrict the usage of these media how DRM does.
