More details
This pledge is to celebrate the fact that we have now selected an excellent candidate for Norwich South, the Green Party's most winnable General Election seat in the country, in Lesley Grahame. And to kickstart Lesley's election fighting fund. Norwich plans to raise an unprecedented amount month-on-month for the next 9 months: this is going to be essential if we are to have a fighting chance of winning. And you KNOW why this is so important: why on so many issues, from nuclear weapons to TTIP, from climate chaos to animal welfare, we MUST get more Green MPs to give more power to the arm of Caroline Lucas MP, and soon. Lesley is the first in line to be able to do this...
The General Election is the election that matters above all. It is a huge publicity opportunity, fundraising opportunity - and above all of course an opportunity to gain real access to power. This pledge aims to launch Norwich South's fundraising for the General Election with a flying start, by putting £650 in the kitty.
Please pledge, and please share this link widely!
